Netherlands Enterprise Agency / CBI

We are working on several CBI programmes and activities. CBI was an agency of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and became part of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) in 2015.

Training and coaching on sustainable business

On behalf of CBI, we provide training and coaching on sustainable business to companies in developing countries, such as Egypt, Pakistan and Ethiopia. We help them develop ambitious action plans.

Facilitation of workshops and conferences

We chair CBI meetings on many different sectors, such as cotton, fish and seafood, motion control, garments, footwear, tea, honey, processed fruits and vegetables, and natural ingredients for health products. We also facilitate CBI peer groups, bringing together representatives from the European private sector (importers, wholesalers, retailers etc.), trade associations, research institutions and sector experts to share views and experiences on key market and trade trends and developments.

Tailored intelligence for companies in developing countries

Rupa Ganguli and Bart Slob did research on the market opportunities for shapewear and beachwear from Colombia. CBI Tailored Intelligence is part of CBI’s portfolio of intelligence studies on the export opportunities to European and incidentally other markets. CBI produces general market intelligence studies for about 25 sectors.
