Leadership and advice on decent work

As the lead on decent work for the Challenge Fund for Youth Employment (CFYE), Ethics at Work’s Bart Slob was responsible for coordinating technical assistance on decent work, setting up and coordinating the implementation of a framework to assess job quality, and leading the development of a lean living wage benchmark method.

CFYE is a € 114 million programme is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It aims to create a prosperous future for 200,000 young women and men in the Middle East, North Africa, Sahel and West Africa and Horn of Africa regions. The fund supports initiatives that offer youth, in particular young women, opportunities for work, providing a stable income and safe working conditions.
